Tyee Wine Cellars is Open just one day in February for Love Takes Flight.  Featuring a Tasting Flight of Five Tyee Estate Pinot Noirs including two 2010 New Release wines, two 2009 Top Scoring wines and a 2008 Library wine.  Visit with Tyee's Founders and Winemaker while enjoying locally grown and produced Tyee Estate Pinot Noir with flowers, art, fun, treats, chocolate, special wine discounts and more.  Meet local artist, Dale Donovan. Browse and purchase his lovely pottery.  At 3:00 pm, enjoy romantic readings dramatized by Jean Bonifas, Tyee's second annual Tyee Two-Lips, and then the soaring release of Donovan's Love Birds.

Each year Tyee Estate Barrel Select Pinot Noir is made from our Winemaker's favorite barrels of the vintage. 2008 Tyee Estate Barrel Select Pinot Noir is made entirely from Tyee's Old Vines, those 34 to 20 years old, the oldest vines in Tyee's Estate Vineyard. Only 100 cases produced.

Greetings, good friends of Tyee! Now that the harvest is in and the fine wines of 2011 are barreled down, it is time to let you know what is coming up next.

Tyee's Post Harvest and Thanksgiving Holiday Open House is being held for two consecutive weekends for your convenience: November 19, 20 and November 25, 26, 27 from 11am-5pm each day. All Tyee Estate Wines will be featured along with the 1st Release of 2009 Tyee Estate Pinot Noir.  Last Call for the double gold medal 2008 Tyee Estate Barrel Select Pinot Noir.  Our traditional Special 25% Case Discount will be available for all Tyee wines for these two weekends only. 

Tickets are selling out for an Oregon Hazelnut Country Wine Dinner, featuring recipes from "Oregon Hazelnut Country - The Food, The Drink, The Spirit" a new book by author Jan Roberts-Dominguez.  The Menu was created by Jan, to celebrate the book.  Each course will be paired with a Tyee Estate Wine.  Each course will feature Oregon Hazelnuts - Indulgence in a nutshell.  All within close view of the lovely Buchanan Family Hazelnut Orchard at Tyee Wine Cellars.  See Upcoming Events for more info.
